About RONIN
Who are RONIN Karate
Karate is a sport with no age limit and offers a wide range of benefits and enjoyment to all those who participate.
Traditional Karate & Fitness (TKF) was launched in 2014 by four professional instructors passionate about creating a club producing high quality Shotokan Karate, where students of all ages and abilities receive the best possible training from experienced and committed instructors. In 2024 TKF was relaunched and became RONIN Karate.
RONIN Karate is the only karate club in Norfolk which can put students on a pathway to the top level international competitions because RONIN is the only karate club in Norfolk to be affiliated with English Karate Federation (EKF), which is the only English Karate organisation recognised by the World Karate Federation (WKF) who are in turn the only World Karate organisation recognised by the International Olympic Committee.
RONIN Karate offer classes at a wide range of locations throughout Norfolk and north Suffolk, including Little Ninjas for children aged 4 – 6, junior karate from 6-14, and senior Karate, our classes are tailored to meet the individual needs of our students helping them to progress through the grades to Black Belt and beyond if they wish. Whilst within karate there is always a focus on grading and achieving the next belt RONIN is not a Black Belt factory, and students are supported to develop at the pace which is right for them. Our experienced instructors, bring a wealth of knowledge to every lesson, to meet the needs of students. Our instructors get to know all our students which means that lessons are not generic, and each lesson is different, based on the abilities of the students attending the class.
We are able to deliver high quality student focused training because we hold classes 6 days a week at 12 different venues and students are welcome to attend training at which ever venue or day suits them, this means that we never know how many students will be at a session therefore we have multiple instructors at each venue to ensure that we can provide flexible and dynamic to meet the needs of whoever wants to train.
RONIN also offer elite and squad training for those looking to compete at the highest National and International competitions, and bespoke self-defence classes.
