Cameron Panday and his Team Kata started the day off brightly claiming gold in their age category before the individual categories. James Leveridge, Rohan Panday and Matthew Yardy missed out on progressing through to the second round despite pulling off brilliant katas. Cameron narrowly missed out on a spot in the final but managed to stay composed to win the repecharge final and claim a bronze medal for the second year in a row with another solid kata performance.

Later in the afternoon, the kumite bouts began with Cody fighting, progressing through the first round only to just miss out on progressing to the second round after putting on a brilliant kumite performance. Henry had a tough afternoon as he had three events ahead of him with his team event coming first where they managed a silver medal. Henry then fought in his weight category (70kg+) and once again for the second time in the day managed to make it to the final and gained a hard-earned silver medal fighting one of the top world ranked competitors. Henry saved the best for last and managed to come away with the English National title for the Open Weight category after some brilliant shots.
